Change is a word which means to adopt something new in life. It maybe either good or bad which depends on the consequence of a situation. Chnage is an element that keeps you moving otherwise you become stagnant.
A society needs a change and that change not only required an individual's effort but a collective effort is needed where all minds think in a positive light. In Pakistani society where everywhere there is gloominess due to disaster, corruption, inflation and insensitive attitudes of the government, people have become impatient and an environment of lawlessness prevails in a society. This evoked anger and frustration in a Pakistani society. We do see some individuals who are playing their part to instill optimistic attitude in the minds of the people but for that a collective effort is most important which will enlighten the minds of the people.
By saying nothing will happen, you have to strive for it. A change doesn't promise you a revolution but it gives you hope to a better society.

Where You See Yourself After 5 Years?

A dream is only a dream when there is no fixed plan but once you pursue to fulfill your dream by sheer hard work and fixed plan. It is not necessary that the plan always go according to your wish, it may change but any effort needs patience. I have also dreamed to become a journalist and for that, i have joined the journalism course. It is aptly said that thousand miles of journey begins with a first step and getting into the Mass.Communication field is that first step.
I see myself in print media where I will be working in a position of journalist who will give factual news to public. I see myself in Dawn Newspaper where I will carry my passion of writing which may create an impact on readers mind. This is where I see myself after five years.

About myself
My name is Madiha Akhtar and i am doing masters in Mass Communication from Jinnah University for Women. My aim is to become a journalist and that's why i choose this subject.
